Hello!
My name is Joshua Barcenas, I am a Filipino animator and illustrator based in Tampa, FL.
The mascot you see scattered around is named Shouja! What is he? Happy to be here!
I am a graduate of the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Arts and Science. During my undergrad, I had a focus on 2D animation and film production.
Through my academia, I have practiced using industry tools such as After Effects, Harmony Pro, and Maya, as well as working throughout every phase of a production pipeline.
Over the past 4 years, I have gained experience, both within academia and outside, creating merchandise, social media graphics, and video advertisements. Much of this was done through cultural organizations at UF, such as the Filipino Student Association and Japanese Student Association.
